MAIN PURPOSE OF THE

JOB

To facilitate the implementation of the Seda incubation strategy,

capacitate and support technology business incubators to ensure

the development of competitive and sustainable enterprises

KEY PERFORMANCE

AREAS

 Provide operational support in the establishment of technology

business incubation and accelerators in accordance with Seda’s

Incubation strategy

 Provide operational support to existing and new technology

business incubators (TBI’s) and accelerators

 Monitor and evaluate TBI’s and accelerators performance and

recommend appropriate interventions

 Network and build effective linkages with relevant

stakeholders

 Manage the effe

 

REQUIRED MINIMUM

QUALIFICATION

 Matric (NQF Level 4) plus a National Diploma(NQF Level 6) in

Operations Management or Business Management or Incubation

Management or Entrepreneurship Management or Project

Management

 Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7) in Operations Management or

Business Management or Incubation Management or

Entrepreneurship Management or Project Management as

added advantage

 

REQUIRED MINIMUM

WORK EXPERIENCE

 4 - 6 years’ experience in Enterprise Development/Technology

Business Incubation and Business Advising

 Proven experience in an innovation and technology-driven

industry or organization

 Experience in assessing the viability and sustainability of small

enterprises

 In depth understanding of the enterprise development and

incubation/accelerators ecosystem

 Project Management experience

 Advanced Computer literacy - MS Office and MS Projects
